ÍslandsTurnar was created in 2021, owning and operating a portfolio of [367] active telecommunications sites across Iceland. It is supported by its shareholder DigitalBridge, a pioneer of the digital infrastructure investment landscape. ÍslandsTurnar is the largest independent, privately owned mobile and broadcast infrastructure provider in Iceland, actively investing in the development of the country’s connectivity.

Jóakim Reynisson
Chief Executive Officer
Jóakim is the Chief Executive of ÍslandsTurnar, and previously had the role of CTO of Nova hf and Tal hf in Iceland. Jóakim has also worked as an expert in telecommunications abroad, notably in Poland and Chile. He received his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.
At ÍslandsTurnar we help network operators meet the connectivity needs of a modern and mobile population. We also help broadcast operators maintain far-reaching and consistent country-wide coverage. As customer demands evolve and expand, we will ensure the Icelandic populations remains connected, wherever they are.
